For a prestigious Multi Specialty Dental  Centre in ABU DHABI , U.A.E

Qualifications:

·   Bachelor degree in dentistry (BDS, DMD, DDS) from an accredited dental school. (preferably European or North American)

·   Preferably a clinical Masters Degree / Diploma - not less than two years, in any non-surgical dental specialty.

·   Must have a minimum of FIVE years of Clinical Experience, post qualification     

·   Leadership skills, creative thinking, excellent communicative & people skills.

Job Descriptions:

1)      Perform other specialty procedures as necessary and within limits of own experience.

2)      Administer local anesthesia and/or pre-medication; perform oral surgery such as removal of teeth and other irregularities, and prescribe medication as necessary. Perform other specialty procedures as necessary and within limits of own experience.

3)      Identify and document all pertinent dental billing information such as examinations, treatment of lesions/abnormalities, etc.

4)      Trains dental assistants and coordinate clinic operations in absence of the In-Charge Dentist; delegate tasks to dental assistants as allowed under Dental Practice Act.

5)      Interpret and implement OSHA and Center for Disease Control (CDC) regulations; ensure staff knowledge and adherence to written guidelines.

6)      Assumes responsibility for clinical competence and professional development.

7)        Maintains confidential information that must be safeguarded to prevent damage to client’s moral integrity. Utilizes sound judgment and caution in communications with individuals inside and outside the Department.

8)         Performs aseptic technique at all times.

9)      Uphold the principles of confidentiality pertaining to the Client’s records and billing record.

10)   Maintains professionalism at all times. Exercises utmost professional discretion in various situations and circumstances and maintain cordial relations with NDC family.

11)   Pursues continuing education in professional practice and must acquire specified number of units required by Health Authority.

12)   Observe proper channeling of communication

13)   Ensures completeness of patient’s dental records.
